Conflict coaching can be a good alternative to mediation. It costs less. And it is often sufficient where the client has skills or background in conflict management, and where communication has not broken down between the parties.

Conflict coaching can be done through face-to-face or video meetings. It involves a client and a conflict management coach talking through a conflict situation with the goal of formulating a plan to deal with the conflict and identifying essential skills.
