FAITHFUL WITNESS - RESOLVING CONFLICT

Providing resources, training, coaching, and mediation

for peacemaking and conflict resolution

based on Biblical principles

Conflict is inevitable – even in churches and the Christian community

Managed badly, it can be costly – to relationships, and financially.

But managed well, it can grow relationships, save money, and be a testimony to the ways and wisdom of God.

Christian Resolution provides resources, training, coaching, and mediation for peacemaking and conflict resolution based on Biblical principles.

COVID-19 restrictions apply when it comes to helping resolve your conflict.

Whenever required, we will do our bit to help reduce the risk of transmission of the coronavirus. While some face-to-face meetings may not be permitted or suitable, meetings can safely take place through online video calls, and preliminary meetings can be done through phone calls, email and other messaging services.

 About Us

Christian Resolution was established by the late Glyn Carpenter as a panel of Christian dispute resolvers to continue the legacy and relationships of Resolve (Christian Service for Disputes Resolution) Inc. Resolve was a widely recognised resource for churches in New Zealand from 1997-2016.

In 2010 Glyn met Ken Sande, author of The Peacemaker’ at Lausanne III, the international evangelical congress. The resources and services provided by Christian Resolution are based on Ken’s book and his more recent work in Relational Wisdom™.

In July 2021, Glyn asked Andrew Wilks, a former Auckland lawyer and trained mediator, to join the panel and to take over the oversight and day-to-day operations of Christian Resolution. Glyn passed away after a period of illness on 9 December 2021.

We are sad to announce that our fellow mediator and friend, Glyn Carpenter, passed away on 9 December 2021 after a battle with cancer. We have made Glyn’s Profile page our tribute to his vision and faithful work in the wider Christian community in New Zealand and the Pacific. His wife Christine, family and friends are sorrowful to lose him, as are we, and we at Resolve-Christian Resolution extend to them our loving sympathy. He will be free of all pain and sickness and full of joy where he is now.

“Well done, faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Master.” (Matthew 25:23)

Andrew, Neil, Alan and Martien
